Hi, I'm Justine and this is Haku my helper. I have been working with dogs for several years
now, and in that time I have helped train all sorts of dogs, from exuberant puppies to more
mature dogs (yes, they can still learn new tricks!).
I have been teaching people for
over a decade. One of my strengths is empathising with each individual's goals and
challenges. I listen carefully to your situation, tailoring my services to fit your
lifestyle.
I started training dogs because I saw many caring people struggling to
achieve their dreams of a happy, harmonious life with their dog. All my teaching
focuses on building a trusting relationship and strong understanding between you and your
dog, to help you achieve your goals.
Haku is still a young Springer, but he has shown from an early age to be confident and
non-reactive around other dogs.
He is my work partner, and his best skill is
helping dog-reactive and anxious dogs. He already has an impressive track record of
helping to build other dogs' confidence.
When not helping other dogs, Haku loves
getting chin scratches, racing through the forest and hunting for tennis balls.
I am fully insured for all my work with dogs, and hold an enhanced DBS for working safely with people, too.
I have a level 3 certificate in Dog Behaviour through the IMDT. I also hold a Diploma in Education and Teaching.
I specialise in supporting owners with their personal goals and situations, without any judgement.
All training methods and class teaching is based on kindness and focuses on building a trusting relationship.
